F-150 XLT
For 1987 the Ford F-150 XLT was available in both Regular Cab and Super Cab with 4x2, 4x4 and three engine choices as options.
The Ford F-150 XLT Lariat's bold, dynamic design is accentuated with a smooth, chrome front bumper and rubstrip. There are bright low mount swingaway mirrors. A lower bodyside protection molding and bright wheellip moldings are all standard as are the sport wheel covers. Inside, the XLT Lariat is the most plush of all the F-Series models. The '87 front bench seat is all cloth with high outboard seat backs on Regular Cab models. In the center is a folding center armrest with integral beverage container depressions. Full color-keyed carpeting is standard. Door trim panels have a map pocket and a recessed storage bin under the armrest. Safety belts are deluxe color-keyed with a comfort regulator feature (except Crew Cab). The headliner and sun visors are color-keyed cloth. The left visor has an elastic retention band. On the right visor there's a removable visor mirror. And the steering wheel is wrapped in soft leather.
